With soft and sweet vocals, “new breed” layers charming elements of production for an easy flow of a track. monmoi notes the track touches on the difference in the millennial generation when compared to the baby boomers, noting “How boomers have control of the world, but royally fucking it up. With reference to Donald Trump and Greta Thunberg and the greed of the older generation, this is a political stand against our elders who are ignoring the voices of the younger generations.”

Thanks to the mix of strong guitars and a carefree melody, an effortless smooth flow is made.

TAYO SOUND - “COLD FEET”

TAYO SOUND has stepped into the scene with a catchy and strong debut “COLD FEET”. For fans of Still Woozy, TAYO SOUND brings in dreamy and hazy vocals with an upbeat flow, “COLD FEET” is paired with a just as pleasing visualizer. The track delves into Tayo’s earliest romantic relationship and the finishing line he knew it had to have, even before it got there.

“The lyrics are about my first relationship and how I thought I had found this perfect person, but I wasn’t sure if the situation or timing was right as I was getting signals that her feelings weren’t as deep as mine. I felt happy because I’d found her but also terrified and anxious because I kinda knew it wouldn’t last," said TAYO SOUND.

“COLD FEET” serves as a tremendous debut and is only a preview into his debut EP, expected later this year.

joan - “want u back”

joan returns with an endearing pop track that’s sure to get you moving. Complete with a simple though fun video, “want u back” showcases the power of the duo and their ability to do - well - everything! “want u back” gives us another inslight to joan’s upcoming EP cloudy”, out August 6th!

Reflecting their creative process at the time, jona notes notes cloudy is “an ep about seasons. created in the fall, introduced live in the winter, finished in the spring, released in the summer. we made “cloudy” to tell a story of one relationship and the fact that love can be messy but so beautiful. you know you shouldn’t be with them right now, but you *have* to be with them, right now. as we were finishing the record, we were forced to be in quarantine and spend more time at home. we both took to walking every evening, and would text each other pictures of the sky while doing it. it felt like the name for the ep had fallen in our laps after talking about it one day. clouds can create a beautiful or terrifying scene, they can bring refreshing rain or a destructive storm. when you see clouds, it’s probably not great at the moment, but it will get better. that’s what this ep is about - getting better, growth, loving harder, and learning from mistakes.”

Feng Suave  - “People Wither”

Feng Suave's newest track, “People Wither” is beautifully comforting, with poetic lyrics like “If your dreams are taking beatings, I'll join you on the floor.” Reminiscent of Coldplay, the soothing tune is a much-needed reminder that everything will be okay, to those who need it.

The song is a part of Dutch psych-pop duo Feng Suave's latest EP, Warping Youth, a stunning collection of six intimate songs. The duo, made up of Daniël Schoemaker and Daniël de Jong place their music somewhere between Bill Withers-esque ‘70s soul and quarter-life crisis bedroom-pop.

Regarding their their sophomore EP, consisting of tracks like “Half-Bag Moon”, “Toking, Dozing” and “Maybe Another Time”, the band notes, “We aimed at distancing ourselves from the contemporary ‘bedroom’ sound of our first releases and tried to stay true to the music we like, listen to and admire the most; more organic-sounding, classic songs. Thematically, the songs are about coming of age and the directionless wandering through adolescence that comes with it.”
