Spill tab - “PISTOLWHIP”

With an elusive and eccentric sound, French-Korean artist spill tab releases new track, “PISTOLWHIP,” which is bound to be on your top favorites this year. It starts off with a little beat and soft spoken vocals while progressively getting more rhythm that leads to the loud explosion of overpowering and fuzzy melody. It’s a little surprise that captures the contrast of what the song is about: rage and holding on to someone you love when they’ve hurt you. Claire Chicha (spill tab) has previously released her EP Oatmilk that received praise from multiple platforms and magazines including PAPER Magazine. She’s a rising artist and her music “transcends worlds,” according to Pigeons & Planes, who also puts her on their Artists to Watch list. She truly is one to watch out for; with her beautiful vocals and unique use of different elements in her sound, you’ll soon be seeing her name everywhere. Bülow - “First Place”

Alternative pop-sensation bülow has just released a new single and music video “First Place”. Bülow notes that the track is an ode to her roots as a busker in London, incorporating airy guitar riffs and soothing melodies. The track is both intimate, infectious, and roaring with feeling. 

Bülow comments about the song: “It’s about somebody who wants your attention but isn’t very genuine. Since we weren’t friends, why do you care today? I definitely went through this experience with a couple of people who only reached out when it was convenient for them. Quarantine was a big light to see who was actually in my life for the right reasons and who care about what was going on. Sonically, it pushed me in the direction I’m headed.”

This track is one were in desperate need of as the seasons change to spring as our emotions change with the season. Bülow gives us everything we need for this new spring and we’re here for it.

Goodvibes Sound - “Stay For One More Night”

London based duo Goodvibes Sound are back again with a brand new disco psych track, “Stay for One More Night”! This feel good song, written and produced by the band themselves delivers bewitching harmonies and a funky bass that are sure to teleport you to the 70’s, dancing underneath a giant disco ball. Said best by Alex from Goodvibes Sound, “ “Stay For One More Night” deals with the feelings of isolation that often arise when you’re living in the city. Sometimes you find yourself being convinced to go and do stuff, just to stave off those feelings of loneliness, when you’d rather just rest and chill at home”. Keep an eye out for these groovy dudes, who have an upcoming album releasing later this year!

Kate Grahn - “Into You”

Kate Grahn is all about power. Her vocals are strong and her sound is edgy. In her new EP Ragdoll, Grahn puts multiple strong elements into her own unique pop sound to create her powerful and driven EP. On her song, “Into You,” her voice draws you in slowly leading you into her rough badass sounding guitar and the increasing pace. A rollercoaster of vocals and sounds, you’ll be constantly surprised with what she is capable of in this song. The LA-based artist combines pop/rock with indie/alternative that will remind you of artists like Hayley Williams, Samia and Donna Missal. She’s a refreshing sound for women in Pop and we’re excited to see what she has in store for us within her music. Read our past feature with Kate here.

Brijs - “Mol y Sol”

Expanding the bounds of intimacy, understanding and friendship, Brijs says, this period of time was a “mismatch gang traveling towards their own personal unknowns at the same time.” Released on March 12, “Mol y Sol” the electric indie song embodies the energy of self-discovery and impulsive adventures.

The coming of age and Indie pop record embodies celebrating the adventures of your mid-20s. Giltra​ , Brijs’ 10 track debut album and the title track, should be kept on the lookout, as more amazing coming of age and understanding identity soundtracks are released. Brijs said listeners can expect more songs from the album that also draw on themes of pursuit.

Daniel Netz - “To The Valley Below”

Within moments of tuning into the “To The Valley Below” music video you’ll be whisked away to a dreamy landscape as if you’re in a movie. The Israel-based pop artist uses their music as a form of reflection and expression, often hihgling topics on fear and freedom. “To The Valley Below” emulates a sweet, charming feel throughout the track and serves as a soothing soundscape to the listener. The single is a preview of what’s to come from Daniel Netz’s upcoming debut EP, It’s all in your mind. Find some temporary escape into Netz’s dreamy world and allow yourself a moment of peace and harmony by tuning into “To The Valley Below”

Warren Thomas Fenzi - “If I Had A Dime”

Inspired by a longtime friendship coming to an end, “If I had a dime” explores the conversation between Polly and the narrator Warren Thomas Fenzi. Struggling with complex choices in their life, Fenzi challenge’s the line between inner truth and self-doubt. Taking a listener on a journey, Fenzi utilizes emotional irregularities and self-acceptance as centerpieces for the song.

This song is the first track and first release off his upcoming dual album titled​ Garden Street​ . Introducing a melancholy and emotional track, the song’s conversation brings to light that important and meaningful conversations, can start out as self-examination but turn into a blame game leaving everyone confused. Looking ahead to the future, fans can expect much more from the singer’s upcoming duel album and should excitedly await the next single release.
