The song’s lyrics focus on two polar opposite sides of loving someone; the juxtaposition of innocently falling for someone’s soul versus the unsettling obsession that takes root in infatuation. Limon Limon - “Normal Now”
The writer Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, “To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.” This principle is the basis of Limon Limon’s newest single, “Normal Now”. The opening lyrics speak of putting on a show of manners and rules in order to appease those around you, but the chorus warns of all of the life you would be missing if not for loving yourself as fiercely and truly as you are. There’s a repeated line of “don’t you see that you’re unique?” song by the band’s frontman in a tone so calming, you forget for a moment of the people clamouring outside of the gates of your mind, desperate to tear you apart. All you’ve gotta do, is embrace yourself in all of your uniqueness.

Skinmag is back and has delivered a multilayered masterpiece. Consisting of singer/guitarist Shane Barton, drummer Devin Stewart, bassist/visual artist Davis Stewart, and multi-instrumentalists Noah Kurtz and Jack Nugent, Skinmag showcases each member’s talent with their latest single, “Calm Me Down”. The song itself is littered with the handiwork of an electric guitar that floats beautifully over the track. The vocals are a raspy whisper, making the reader nostalgic for the days when one could just enjoy life in a state of peace, untouched by the worries of late.
