WE’RE BACK IN THE DESERT FOR 2022’S COACHELLA and it’s safe to say we’ll be having a busy weekend running from set to set. With an impressive lineup including everyone from headliners to Billie Eilish, Harry Styles and Sweedish House Mafia to some of our previous cover stars Raveena, Wallows, Crumb and Inner Wave, the weekend will have something to offer at just about every hour.  While we’ve included a day-by-day guide for the music below, there’s a lot more to experience at Coachella beyond the music. Start off by registering your wristband with the official Coachella app. Once registered, you can claim a free 2022 In Bloom NFT that will unlock exclusive on-site perks. On Friday morning of each weekend, you’ll see your NFT bloom into one of seven desert flowers. These NFTs can redeem festival benefits like a dedicated entry lane, limited-edition FTX & Coachella merch, food and beverage vouchers and even premium upgrades like VIP, ticket’s to next year’s festival and more. In addition to the general festival NFTs, the 88rising NFT collection is now on-sale for one-day only.

Once you’ve claimed your NFT, it’s time to start planning your weekend. Review our “Top 5 Tips To Survive Coachella” to ensure you’ve got everything you need for the weekend and then get familiar with the lineup. Coachella veterans already know the lineup is just one piece of what the festival has to offer, so make sure you dedicate some time to experience some of the activations like the Ferris Wheel, Heineken House, Powered by HP: The Antarctic, POSTed Studio, and always make time for food and drink.

When you’ve got some time in between sets and are looking to keep on grooving make sure you hit up the DoLab. This year’s lineup is better than ever and includes Life On Planets, Rebecca Black & Friends, Austin Millz, Vintage Culture, SIDEPIECE and many more. The DoLab always creates a unique energy not seen at the other stages thanks to its interactive crowd environment and colorful structures the stage.

Read below for our day by day music picks and get ready to have the weekend of a lifetime.

Friday

Friday’s energy is always high and you’ll be ready to hit the ground running. We know you’ll be thinking about headliner Harry Styles all day, but come a little early in the afternoon to get a sense of the festival’s layout so you don’t have to waste time trying to find a stage later on. Avoid long lines and get your merch ahead of time so the rest of your weekend can focus on making the most of the festival. If you’re looking to get your indie fix in, stop by and dance to Still Woozy and Role Model, and get ready to rock out to British-Irish IDLES. When you’re ready to get in your feels and groove, make sure to catch Omar Apollo, The Marias and Raveena - these are artists always put on a beautiful performance as well. For those looking to get your sad girl hours in, your queen Phoebe Bridgers will be playing on Friday as well.

For our Hip-Hop lovers you’ve got quite a lineup to pick from, with our selects for Friday being Big Sean, Baby Keem, City Girls, slowthai, Cordae, Princess Nokia and Jean Dawson. If you plan on hopping into the pit, just know what you’re getting yourself into. If you’re looking for some high energy sets without the potential moshing, EDM acts like Louis the Child, Madeon, Dom Dolla, John Summit and Jayda G will be providing the serotonin for your Friday.

Saturday

With little time to recover from Harry closing out Friday’s adventure, you’ll already be ready to start getting a plan for Saturday, including mentally preparing for headliner Billie Eilish. Make sure you get some food and water in your system so you can enjoy Saturday’s sets without any episodes, and don’t be afraid to slow down and enjoy some sets sitting in the back. Artists like Giveon, Japanese Breakfast and Arlo Parks provide a perfect soundtrack for those moments when you want to lay in the grace and just take in their beautiful voices, while upbeat artists like girl in red, Wallows, Cuco, Steve Lacy, Beach Bunny, Current Joys, Inner Wave, Holly Humberstone and Beach Goons give you plenty of options for when you want a moment to get immersed in the crowd and sing along to the lyrics you know and love.

When you’re wanting to get your body stretched out and get those dance moves out, hit up Flume, Disclosure, Caribou, Tchami and L’Imperatice, and when you’re looking to get your rap fix in, make sure to stop by Megan The Stallon, 21 Savage, Rich Brian, Isaiah Rashad and group Brockhampton, who will have their final performance at this year’s festival. Last but certainly not least is Stromae - whether or not you’re familiar with French music, this icon is a must have for your Saturday, as he’s sure to give a performance like no other.

Sunday

Waking up on Sunday might be a little tough, but once you remember what’s on the day’s agenda you’ll be up and ready to go in no time. While headliners Swedish House Mafia and The Weeknd will likely be on your mind most of the day, Sunday’s diverse lineup is sure to hit all the spots throughout the day. Get hyped with Rap stars Doja Cat, J.I.D. Denzel Curry and Vince Staples at their respective sets and slow down to our favorites like psych-rock group Crumb, singer/songwriter Joji and indie sweetheart Beabadoobee. For those moments when you’re feeling a bit tired but need that push to keep you going, you’ve got a variety of upbeat acts like Fred Again…, Duck Sauce, Duke Dumont, Chanel Tres, Hayden James, Jamie XX and Emotional Oranges.

As your weekend wraps up, take in your surroundings and make note of all the incredible artists you had the pleasure of seeing and discovering, and you’ll likely already be thinking about who you want to play next year!
