CHLOE GEORGE IS A STAR ON THE RISE. The LA-based NYU graduate recently returned to New York on the last stop of her first-ever tour.

We met up with Chloe and her tour crew on a sunny early-spring afternoon as she geared up for the final show of the My Soft Machine tour. She just wrapped the month-long run supporting Arlo Parks, playing songs from her brand-new EP: A Cheetah Hunting in Slow Motion.

Below is a snapshot of this moment in time - one month out from her EP release, days before the last stop of tour, and back in the city where it all began.

“I feel so at home on stage…I just feel lucky, honestly.”

“[The EP] came out right before the second day of tour, so it was cool to bring [fans] into the world in this way.”

Chloe and her crew - Tour Manager Andi Aguilar and Photographer Caroline Hsu. The three connected shortly before hitting the road and instantly bonded.

“This being my first tour, a lot of people don’t know me and that’s really cool - cause you’re meeting me and my freshest piece of work at the same time.”

“This EP process was really quick - I wrote all of the songs in 8 months. In the course of that 8 months I was going through a breakup, leaving an apartment…a lot of shift and change, so it was nice to lean into this nomadic lifestyle and be like, ‘I don’t know where the fuck I am, or what’s going on, but I know how I feel.’”

“This has been such a beautiful experience…I feel like I’m leaving so inspired.”
