SINCE ITS DEBUT IN 2015— Rolling Loud has seen some of the world’s biggest names in Hip-Hop while making a home for the smaller ones on their rise to superstardom. 2023 was an especially big year for the underdogs and up-and-comers alike, as the festival returned to take place in Los Angeles’ Inglewood, Southern California’s first Rolling Loud festival comfortably out of the COVID-19 pandemic. Following the big-time headliners Playboi Carti, Travis Scott, Future, and special guest Lil Wayne, were one of the biggest lineup of performers Rolling Loud SoCal has seen in years to celebrate the comeback.

While last year hosted a real platform for artist discovery, 2024’s lineup has noticeably sized down to make room for the return of some legends who ran the 2010s, along with major comebacks from the OGs; In addition to the decade’s queen of rap, Nicki Minaj, debuting Pink Friday 2 (for one LA night only), Rolling Loud added an additional fourth day to the festival, at no additional cost to 3-day ticket holders, for a special performance by Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign, who collectively have billed as ¥$ for their collaborative album Vultures 1. Other headliners include Post Malone, Future, and Metro Boomin.

The Luna Collective is ready to dip into the nostalgia Rolling Loud is rolling out, in the heart of culturally-rich Los Angeles nonetheless. Read below to see check out more artists on the RL 2024 bill deserving of a highlight!

ROLLING LOUD VETERANS: Loyalty is a valuable trait in Hip-Hop — ask anyone. Here are a few of Rolling Loud CA’s devout performers who have returned to their well-earned place on the bill for the last several years in a row since before the COVID hiatus.

FEMALE ARTISTS: With the likes of social media such as TikTok comes ever-growing access to artist discovery and the chance for the music industry to reflect the world we live in — truly run by women. We’ve come a long way from Nicki Minaj and Lil Kim being the main women in predominantly-masculine creative spaces. These are just a few of the female artists taking their earned place on the 2024 RL lineup.

REGIONAL MEXICAN ARTISTS: Rolling Loud isn’t just for major rap fans; this year, the festival has opened up their demographic by welcoming these culturally rooted artists as Regional Mexican music continues to make its into mainstream entertainment.

OTHER RISING STARS: Again with the underdogs! The unofficial special-guests of our hearts! As a parting gift, these are just a few more of our mention-worthy guys who may have caught your eye this past year — stay with it, it’s only up for them from here.
