DESPITE THE 95-DEGREE TEMPERATURE WELL INTO THE LATE EVENING - the RÜFÜS DU SOL fans of Austin didn't let the heat slow them down. Before the Aussies even took to the stage the feeling of excitement was clear as fans packed out the Germania Insurance Amphitheater.

Kicking the night off strong with "On My Knees", it was clear the evening was going to be full body experience. As the bass shook through the crowd’s body, they were met with trippy yet tasteful colorful visuals that provided a foundation of the experience throughout the evening. The trio took the audience to their own, melodic soundscape and world for just over an hour of a set. Keeping a steady pace with tracks like "You Were Right" and "Devotion", RÜFÜS DU SOL allowed the space for fans to groove and let loose alongside fans who were in the moment just as much as they were.

With an expansive and growing discography, RÜFÜS DU SOL balanced their set with picks from each era, including "Sundream" from their first album Atlas to newer hit tracks "Alive" and "Next To Me" from 2021's Surrender. The band shared their excitement to be back in Austin, noting that they had to cancel their last show in Austin back in 2019, on the day of the show. Since then, the band has released their groundbreaking Live From Joshua Tree live album and Surrender.

Whether it was a fan's first time and fifth seeing the group, it is clear that a RÜFÜS DU SOL show provides an opportunity to truly escape into the music.

Currently in the midst of their US tour, the band will immediately hop back home to Australia to finish the year out with a handful of tour dates. Catch RÜFÜS DU SOL in a city near you and get ready for the full RÜFÜS experience.
