KID BLOOM - THE RISING STAR WHO GRACED OUR PAGES BACK IN OUR 9TH ISSUE IN 2019 - brought his infectious energy to the legendary Antone's in Austin, Texas on February 27th. The concert buzzed with the city's vibrant energy, fueled by the recent string of beautiful weather.

Opening for Kid Bloom were RMR and Mae Mae, setting the stage for a night of diverse and captivating sounds. Kid Bloom, known for his blend of indie rock and psychedelic pop, showcased a captivating setlist that blended fan favorites with fresh tracks from his latest EP, Inner Light (Phase 1).

Throughout his career, Kid Bloom's sound has subtly evolved, drawing inspiration from diverse influences. While his earlier work leaned towards a laid-back, California-inspired vibe, his recent music delves deeper, incorporating elements of introspection and vulnerability, evident in tracks from Inner Light.

This evolution was evident at the show. The audience, a mix of longtime fans and newcomers, sang along enthusiastically to both the established hits and the newer, more introspective songs. Kid Bloom's stage presence was undeniable, captivating the audience with his effortless charisma and genuine connection to the music. The entire evening was a testament to his growth as an artist and his ability to connect with his audience on a deeper level.
