Band members Zakk Giordano, Spencer Giordano, Dan Smith, David Caban and Logan Lavo have been performing together for several years, and nothing can stop them from creating a unique sound that emanates today’s biggest hits.

Their new single, “In My Head,” is a fun, lighthearted track about love. It tells the story of first falling in love and not being able to get someone out of your head. After listening to this catchy tune, you won’t be able to get “In My Head” out of your head.

NIGHTBREAKERS has created a curated sound that doesn’t miss when it comes to finding new listeners. Their polished pop sound is perfectly carried out not just on their new track but throughout their entire catalog.

Keep reading below to hear from NIGHTBREAKERS on their new single, how they came into their sound, and their biggest inspirations.

LUNA: Who are your biggest influences as a band?

NIGHTBREAKERS: Our biggest influences are 5 Seconds of Summer, The Maine, Maroon 5, The 1975.

LUNA: What is the origin story behind NIGHTBREAKERS?

NIGHTBREAKERS: We had all been playing around in different bands for years in the Tampa area and finally all came together in January of 2019 under NIGHTBREAKERS. The name came through many iterations of a survey we had of a bunch of different ideas and NIGHTBREAKERS kept ending up at the top slot!

LUNA: What is the story behind your new single, “In My Head”?

NIGHTBREAKERS: “In My Head” is about when you’re first getting a crush on someone and how they are always on your mind and you can’t stop thinking about them and just want to be with them.

LUNA: How have your earlier singles impacted your current sound?

NIGHTBREAKERS: Our earlier singles have impacted our current sound by letting us experiment with what works for us and what we like about ourselves and our songwriting. We realized we have a lot of fun writing upbeat, happy, feel-good songs, and our supporters seem to resonate the most with those as well.

LUNA: If you could do a behind-the-scenes of the making of any of your songs, which would you choose and why?

NIGHTBREAKERS: We have done a few behind-the-scenes videos in the past on YouTube and TikTok, which have been a blast to do, but it’s been a while so we’re definitely due for more! “ALL I WANNA DO IS LOVE YOU” would be a fun one because of the killer saxophone solo!

LUNA: What is your favorite part about being in a band?

NIGHTBREAKERS: Sharing the hard work and love we put into our passion for other people to enjoy. Not only through releasing music online but with music videos, TikToks, Instagram content, and especially live shows.

LUNA: If you could describe NIGHTBREAKERS in one sentence, what would it be?

NIGHTBREAKERS: Five best friends having the time of our lives making music you want to blast at full volume and dance to!

LUNA: What can fans and listeners look forward to from NIGHTBREAKERS in the near future?

NIGHTBREAKERS: A bunch of new music, videos, and shows around the country, so we’re super excited to share what we’ve been working on!
