DREAMY & "SQUIGGLY" - two words that perfectly  describe Guspy's music. The OC based artist is rising in the Lo-fi, bedroom music scene and is one to be looking out for. His music transcends simple emotions and enters the realm of convoluted feelings that can only be expressed through shapes and groovy tunes.

With unique songs such as "Anchor" in their repertoire, Guspy brings something different to the table when it comes to Lo-fi, psychedelic music. Read on to learn more about the artist's intentions with his music, his plans for the year and more.

LUNA: Just so we can get a better understanding of you as both a person + artist, would you mind introducing yourself a bit?

JAKE: What’s good Guspy Gang. I’m Jake, I’m 19, and I never learned how to read music or was formally taught how to play instruments. I still don’t know how to read music. I’m from the 714, Santa Ana, California. I’m half Latino, half Filipino, 80% water and 100% brown. I like long walks on the beach but I’d much prefer if we sat down eventually.

LUNA: How did you get to pursuing music as a career rather than just a hobby?

JAKE: I never wanna look back and ask what if. So full send.

LUNA: What do you say when people ask what type of music do you make?

JAKE: Most of the time I ask them if they could listen and then they can tell me because I honestly have no good answer. Or I go for the classic Indie Bedroom Lo-fi Psychedelic Surf Jazz. So like Millennial hesh girl stoner music. To them, my heart.

LUNA: As of lately, what do you find yourself writing about most? Why?

JAKE: Just some more cliche love songs. Those are my fav.

LUNA: Do you try to express a message through your music?

JAKE: I’d say yes and no. I just write about how I’m feeling in the moment, be it good or bad, happy or sad, squiggly and glad, or insane and mad.

LUNA: What do you want the rest of 2019 to bring?

JAKE: All I could ask for is endless succ(ess) for my Spotify. Perhaps land on some playlists and get a following going for my new releases that may or may not be coming out soon.
