Jennifer Stewart - “Cool

Rising Scottish artist Jennifer Stewart releases her brand new track, “Cool”. In the bouncy, head bopping song, Stewart writes about wanting to be more careless in life and not worry so much about how she should be living her life around others. It's a song that encourages others to be the main character in the sitcom that is life, to live it each day without a care in the world about outside opinions and do what makes you feel full and happy. Drawing inspirations from distinct artists such as Fleetwood Mac, HAIM, and Harry Styles, one can hear her influences with the sound and her vocals.

Andrekza - “Tom y Jerry”

With unique elements and enchanting vocals, Andrekza releases a new single, “Tom y Jerry.” Sung in Spanish, the song takes you through a mystery filled energy. The music video itself is a creative adventure that you’ll instantly fall in love with. Andrekza is found on a different planet, where she’s left behind everything that hurt her and where she’ll connect to characteristics of her home country, Venezuela. Buttered - “Love”

This new single released by Buttered opens with a smooth organ and a shimmering vocal entrance. The guitar and heartwarming lyrics create a universal feeling of warmth and comfort. The song is dedicated to the honest beginning and excitment of true commitment with a person; the atmosphere created will transport you to a slow dance in the arms of your love, dreaming and yearning for the future life you will experience together. 

​Following their debut in 2020, the band was able to accumulate almost 500,000 streams worldwide and release their first single of 2021 “Love” on June 18th. Written and produced by Buttered and mixed by Jared Adlem, the track is a true reflection of the band’s name and style, according to the duo. Listeners can surely await the next release with high hopes and excited ears.

Mae Powell - “Scratch and Sniff”

Mae Powell makes music so sweet you’ll be coming back for more. The Bay area indie pop artist releases a new track, “Scratch and Sniff,” that is full of warmth so similar to hugs. The track comes along with an animated music video of a long distance relationship between the moon and sun. Touching on that kind of relationship, she sings, “Tonight we are together in my dreams.” Inspired by her childhood of watching folk musicians make music in her garage, Powell incorporates multiple elements from genres to sonically please our hearts. “Scratch and Sniff” is the second single from her debut album, Both Ways Brighter, out on August 20. Listen to the track and fall in love with her melodic vocals and soothing instrumentals. 

Heavy in Pocket - “(ode to) Jiffy Boy”

“(ode to) Jiffy Boy” is a slow melodic built track from artist Heavy in Pocket that completely engulfs you with a sense of bittersweetness. A song about saying bye to bad habits and the better journey that follows.  A theme that rests in their music, along with desire, despair, food, and love, Heavy in Pocket is a project that we are sure you’ll love. There is nothing better than finding an artist that makes you feel both comforted and touched. Heavy in Pocket includes that “We often don't realize our daily comforts can be the same things that hold us back. Jiffy Boy is the monkey on our back, the last high, the final crutch between us and our dreams.” Fall in love with Heavy in Pocket as we anticipate the release of their next move called, Songs from my Past.

Club Soccer - “Wishing We Could Be In Love”

Musical duo Club Soccer are here with a brand new single, “Wishing We Could Be In Love”! Drawing inspiration from indie dream pop, bossa nova, and psychedelic rock- Nando and Nico are able to blend genres and create an effortlessly cool, smooth song that many can relate to. Having been written in the beginning of the lockdown due to the pandemic, the track speaks on the hardships of being away from your partner and only having the option to make up scenarios in your head to feel closer to them. The chill vibes on the guitar and the soft vocals showcase the tenderness of the lyrics and how comforting it would be to have that person near you.

Always You - "Crimson Red"

The latest off Always You’s upcoming album Bloom off the Rose, “Crimson Red” is a shining declaration of sparkling synth and highlighting guitar. The pair of brothers, Anton and Christoph Hochheim, release this project four years after their previous project and duo group, Ablebody released a full length album called, Adult Contemporaries, earning them critical acclaim from, Dazed, DIY, FADER, and more. 

​Ninth Track on the album, “Crimson Red,” casts a hopeful and soft atmosphere. The duo explain “This song is about bravery and taking a chance on love, carrying the weight of two and loudly celebrating the beauty the other can no longer see.” Bloom off the Rose will be released on July 16th and the 11 song album can be presaved here.
