Now Listening: This Week's Tracks

saaccharine - “ghoststory”

Don’t you just love a good ghost story? We sure do. If it isn’t the bit of melancholy that hits the soul or the delightful memory of a loved one, there is something in a ghost story that resonates within us all. Saccharine takes just that feeling and explores it in their latest track “ghoststory”. The goal of the track was to create something “sexy and haunting” all at the same time. Saccharine achieves this goal by layering warm echoey vocals over a consistently laid-back Latin-inspired groove. Saccharine explores the imagery of a ghost floating around with cutting guitar riffs that bounce from eardrum to eardrum. This laid-back groove is haunting yet completely comforting all at once. Do your spirit the service of falling into the "ghoststory".

Freeds - “Fuzzy”

We all need to feel a little warm and fuzzy sometimes. And with Freeds, creating that feeling is no problem. Freeds comes to us in the form of psychedelic guitars and easy-going lyrics with his latest single “Fuzzy”. Freeds discovered that creativity has always lived within him. From a young age growing up in Bondi Beach, to building his identity piece by piece in Melbourne. His music sheds light on his journey with mental health. Somehow his music still comes out sunny and optimistic, reminding us all that there’s a little light at the end of the tunnel. Freeds is the perfect new artist for fans of the upbeat grooves of Still Woozy, the vibe of Rex Orange County, and of course, The Beatles. So, enjoy this little piece of sonic sunshine in your summer listening seshes.

ANITA - “On Me”

With a creative concept like no other, ANITA takes you for a visual and musical journey with her latest track “On Me”.
