Ivytide - “text me when u get home”

With a sweet acoustic guitar melody weaved throughout the song alongside sweet vocals and a bit of some hip-hop beats, “text me when u get home” will be your favorite song for the week. Ivytide’s new single, “text me when u get home,” is about the sense of security in a relationship when you start saying “text me when you get home” after parting ways with them to make sure they’re good. A simple phrase that has more meaning to us than we think. Sometimes we feel bad if we forget to say it or forget to let the other know we’re home which could lead to some overthinking. That’s what Ivytide shows with his lyrics, those overthinking thoughts alongside how that little phrase means a lot. This new single is definitely one you’ll play over and over again, especially to hear the chorus and the hints of rap throughout the song that make it unique in sound.

Tae - “Nostalgia”

The first few seconds of the song are warm and soft, perfectly leading you into the sweet vocals of Tae. Fitting with the sound of warmth, “Nostalgia” is about a summer love/crush and the excitement you feel with them. Tae created a dreamy track to capture just how it feels, and we think she did a perfect job with it. “Nostalgia” really does have that nostalgic melancholic sound yet in the sweetest way as she adds a rock element to it. You’ll be adding this to your playlists for someone special or listening to it and reminiscing on something good. It’s the perfect song to listen to right now, and it’s the perfect song to lead you towards the rest of Tae’s music. She’s someone to keep an ear out for.

Plu Mera - “Timeout”

A groovy melody and a charming vocal flow, “Timeout” is sure to get you moving pretty much as soon as the track starts. The track is filled with instrumental and production elements that invite the listener to get moving. Plu Mera notes the theme of time in the track, explaining, “Time is a big influence in this song. Spending time with someone. Wanting to spend your time with someone. What you do with your time. Its about those moments you have when you just never want that moment to end. Sometimes we all need a Timeout.” Between sweet synths, a soothing guitar and a chorus that you’ll find stuck in your head, “Timeout” is gonna be essential on your playlist.
